Center Activities DIY Tubs

I had posted this idea on Pinterest a couple days ago...now I am finally getting to the part of sharing the labels with y'all.

Maybe you can use them for something!

I first spray painted my old Folgers coffee plastic containers and then made a pretty polka dot label for them. I use them in my Math Workshop for center storage.

Here is what the labels look like: [I have them made all the way to #12]

Please enjoy the lables, hopefully you can use them for something!

Tattle Monster

Another Pinterest inspiration: I have saw many different little "tattle vs. telling" techniques...after posting this sign and making a special spot for tattles...things have lightened up. Whew! Cause I was going crazy with all the..."he said, she said, that she did this, that he had done this"....blahablahabalhababablah! LOL

Here is what I came up with:

You can get the printable version below:

Turn In Tracker!!

My sweet darlings have a BAD habit of turning their work into their DESK! Not the turn in basket! And of course PINTEREST came to the rescue! I saw a couple different turn in ideas and then merged a few and this is what I came up with!

I used some digital scrapbook materials to "jazz" it up! :) I hope you can use it! Enjoy!

Ringing in the New Year

Here is an activity that I am using as a fun way for my students to think about resolutions:

I haven't decided how I am going to do the activity in the classroom. Whether I will print the phone on construction paper or allow my students to color the outlined version. We will see. I am going to make a GREAT bulletin board with them...."Ringing in the New Year" I hope y'all can use this activity. I love it. I have decided to share the outlines with you along with a sheet for their resolutions. Enjoy!

Leave feedback and let me know what you think, or your ideas.

[updated] it is now available on my TpT store and has been revamped!! Click HERE

After we complete the writing process we will illustrate the writing by make a snowglobe!

I used two paper plates, a ziplock bag, snow contents (hole punches and ribbon) and construction paper!

Grinch Day in the Classroom

We had a "Grinch Day" in our classroom! My students loved it! We all wore our jammies to school, watched "How the Grinch Stole Christmas" (the original version), ordered pizza for lunch, ate treats and snacks, receieved a special treat from the Grinch himself, and made Grinch Glyphs!!! They absolutely LOVED IT!

Treat from the Grinch: (I've shared the printable below)

Here is the Grinch Glyph we made, thank you Glyph Girls for your great idea!

You can purchase the patterns/directions at Teachers Pay Teachers. The Glyph Girls do great work!
Here is the super cute cards I made, I found the idea on Pinterest, but made it my own. Enjoy!
